Meet Cliff
Cliff Thompson is a lifelong resident of Northwest Arkansas, a dedicated public servant, and a proven leader with decades of experience protecting and serving the community.
Cliff spent more than 20 years with the Rogers Fire Department, where he rose through the ranks and retired as Deputy Chief. During his career, he played a key role in emergency response leadership, personnel management, operational planning, and departmental budgeting.
His experience in public safety has given him firsthand knowledge of crisis management, infrastructure needs, and the importance of strong leadership in growing communities.
Education & Professional Background
Cliff’s commitment to leadership and professional development includes:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Administration and Fire Prevention Technology
• Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership
• Licensed Paramedic
• Graduate of the Executive Fire Officer Program through the National Fire Academy
These experiences have equipped Cliff with the leadership skills and strategic planning knowledge necessary to guide a growing city like Centerton.
Service to the Community
In 2024, Cliff was appointed to the Centerton City Council, where he works with fellow council members on city policy, budgeting decisions, and long-term planning initiatives.
His time on the council has given him valuable insight into how city government operates and where improvements can be made to better serve residents.
Faith, Family, and Community
Cliff and his family proudly call Centerton home and are active members of the community. They attend Fellowship Bible Church and believe strongly in the values of faith, integrity, service, and family.
Those values guide Cliff’s leadership and his commitment to serving the people of Centerton.
